CYS has processed 57 million account closures. Now we're making it cheaper than ever. Here's why we dropped from 20% to 5%.
Let's be honest: our fees were too high.
At 20%, Claim Your Sol was charging more than most SOL recovering tools currently on the market. We knew it. You knew it. Our competitors definitely knew it and they weren't shy about saying so.
So we fixed it.
CYS fees are now 5%
Starting today every claim through CYS has a flat 5% service fee matching the one of the lowest base rates in the space. If you are able to recover 1 SOL, you keep 0.95 SOL.
No tiers. No fine print. No "starting at" with hidden escalators. 5% and it can only lower from here!
Why did it take so long?
Fair question. When CYS launched in 2022 the Solana cleanup tool market barely existed. We were one of the first. We built the infrastructure, processed 57 million account closures and became the most-used tool in the space by a wide margin.
But the market changed. New tools launched with lower fees. We should have adapted sooner. We didn't, and we lost users because of it.
What's different now
This fee cut is part of a larger CYS v2 overhaul:
- 5% flat fee on all claims.
- Fee Payer mode: no SOL in your wallet? We cover the gas fee.
- User dashboard with claim history, referral tracking and earnings.
- Simplified Chinese language support.
- Portuguese language support.
- Monthly 1% fee day: one day per month we're dropping the fees to to just 1%!
We're not just cutting fees. We're rebuilding the tool to provide the best service in the market again.
Why should you care?
Because CYS has closed more accounts than every other tool combined. That's not marketing.. it's on-chain. 57 million closures. We've been doing this longer, and we've done it more, than anyone else.
